Smart shopping- buying things during sales

For young girls who earn their own living or are still students, budget is always a problem in buying things for their own wardrobes. In Europe, there are always two major sales during the whole year, one is summer and the other is winter. It is a good idea to buy fashion during sales. For fashion clothing, you should be aware that some trendy clothing can be outdated and it is easy for people to stamp these clothes as 'appeared in **show**year'. As for accessories, it is less risky to invest. Being an ornament to the outfit, accessory is always secondary to the clothing, thus as long as it can match the outfit, it is ok to wear it.
However, there are still something that you need to remember:
1. Suitable. Always choose what is the most suitable to you, not just follow the trend. First know your figure, and study what color and style suit you best. Like, a girl with plus size, is not good looking to wear too bright or big floral clothing. Don't buy it just because you like it or it is cheap.
2. Match. Fashion accessories should match your whole look. This is a golden rule. Different style and color of garments should be decorated by different accessories. Vintage style has vintage accessories. Punk style has black and metal accessories etc.
3. Versatile and be fun. If you cannot afford to buy as many clothing as possible, you can probably buy more accessories to create different feelings of your look. You can play with those small decorations- earrings, necklaces, arm bracelets, rings, glasses, purses, handbags etc. One style can have different items. Different accessories can create a new look even when you wear old outfit. Shoes and handbags can be from brands of better quality, or even luxury brands. You do not need to buy exclusively luxury brands all the time, but it will contribute to your chic taste if you have some very good items on, at least one, which can be the shining point of the whole look.
